I recently acquired a 1989 BMW E30 Touring. It’s a left hand drive 320i that came from Italy in Lachssilber Metallic (Silver) over grey cloth interior with an M Tech II steering wheel and IS side skirts. My friend Rick just purchased a 2015 328xi (F31) Touring with the M Sport package (among others) in Melbourne Red over black leather interior. He stopped by and we thought it would be a good opportunity for an impromptu comparison of 25 years of BMW touring evolution. The first 3 Series touring and the latest 3 Series touring.
