Complete Inspection and 75,000 Mile Service per Toyota Service Manual using
Toyota Parts (including Oil Change, receipts included)
If you are looking for a clean, low mileage Tacoma this is it! It only has 75,000 miles on the odometer. It’s a 1-owner Tacoma that was originally purchased at Heartland Toyota in Bremerton, Washington. It has spent its entire life in Washington, California, and Arizona for a few years. The Carfax shows no accidents, regular oil changes and maintenance, mostly performed at Toyota dealers. The Silver Streak Mica paint with billet grill looks awesome. Silver is one of the few colors that always presents clean, no matter how dirty it is (I hand detailed the truck preparing for sale). It has all of the right packages for Colorado — SR5, TRD Off-Road, and Factory Tow Package, (see below for a full list of options). The Under Cover tonneau cover locks, improves gas mileage, and will keep snow out of the bed. It is can be removed in 2 minutes by quick releases. I am a Tacoma fanatic and pick only the best vehicles to sell. This Tacoma is going to make someone very happy. Please read on for a detailed description.
I performed a complete inspection and did the 75,000-mile service using Toyota parts per the factory service manual. The inspection included changing the engine oil and filter, front differential oil, transfer case oil, and rear differential oil. The only items I found that needed replacing were the tires (due to DOT age not wear), one rear tonneau cover hatch strut, and the front left mud flap.
The 1GR-FE V6 engine runs smoothly and pulls strong. There is no idler pulley noise when it’s cold (another common issue). The brake fluid and coolant are both very clean. When I drained the oil it was also very clean and still translucent. The 5-Speed automatic shifts smoothly and is very efficient at keeping the right gear for fuel economy, yet downshifting for power the instant it is demanded. The 4-wheel drive system engages exactly as it should. The brake pads are at about 50% and the rotors are not warped. There are no driveline vibrations or noises and no front wheel bearing play. I installed fresh BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires (factory spec tires); at present they have less than 200 miles on them. The TRD Off-Road Bilstein shocks are firm, yet compliant. The rear leaf springs do not squeak and show no signs of failure. They are included in a voluntary recall by Toyota for all 2005-2011 Tacoma’s, but Toyota has not implementing it yet due to parts availability. The buyer will be notified by Toyota when it is implemented.

The low miles of this Tacoma show in its exterior. The paint is in excellent condition and shines brilliantly. The color-matched fenders and front bumper are a great feature of the TRD Off-Road package. There is no pitting on the bumper, grill, or hood. The windshield is also free of pitting and the factory tint is perfect. The chrome and black-work are not UV faded and the headlight lenses are clear. The wheels have no chips or curb rash. The TRD decals are not cracked or pealing. The inside of the pickup bed has minimal wear and all load securing hardware is present. The 110V / 400V AC power point works. I am very critical of our vehicles and search out every imperfection (all are photographed on our website). There are a few small clear coat scratches and dings. The largest is on the front bumper cover behind where the lower edge of the license plate would go. The rear driver’s side suicide door has faint 6” crease that looks like a PDR repair (zero indication of paintwork). There is another small dent on the rear right hand side of the hood. The left side of the rear bumper is dented, but could be easily pushed out. It is just the bumper. The bumper shocks and body are not affected.
The interior is also indicative of the low miles. There are no rips or tears, the carpets are clean, and there are no odors. All switches and accessories work correctly, including the compass and outside air temperature gauge (which is a common failure). The leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter show minimal wear. The Kenwood KDC-X399 Stereo is a very nice upgrade, matching the factory illumination color and adding an extra storage spot in the dash. The interface is seamless, it automatically connects to your smart phone and can stream Pandora, Bluetooth audio, Bluetooth phone, or USB charging and music input. I also installed a set of factory rubber Tacoma floor mats to preserve the interior for years to come.
