The 6th-generation M3/M4, internally referred to as the G80, was released in 2020 and is the most potent and advanced M3 ever made. It’s also likely the last M3 with a manual gearbox (150 special edition units, called the M3 MT, were offered in Japan in 2024) and possibly the last non-hybrid M3. At the heart of the G80 M3 is the twin-turbocharged S58B30T0, good for 473 horsepower; the M3 Competition upped this to 503 horsepower but was only offered with the 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Pre Lifecycle Impulse (LCI) G80s offered the perfect balance of technology with iDrive 7.0, CarPlay integration, and a heads-up display (Executive Package cars) while still having lots of the old-school buttons that enthusiasts prefer (these were integrated into a large touchscreen in the post-LCI cars). The end result is supercar performance in a sedan you can drive every day, that is comfortable enough for four adults—the optimization of the sports sedan.
This 2021 Isle of Mann green over Tartufo brown leather 6-speed manual G80 M3 is the perfect spec. At least, according to one Car and Driver reporter who stated after a 40K-mile long-term G80 M3 test, “ If there’s a perfect spec for the M3, this is it: manual, rear-wheel drive, and Isle of Mann green.” With only 6,300 miles, this one is made better by a Dinan intake and Fabspeed exhaust with carbon fiber tips (the stock tune has never been modified, and all original parts are included). Visual enhancements include Vorsteiner carbon fiber front grilles, front splitter, and side skirts, adding to the factory carbon rear trunk spoiler. Factory options include the Executive Package, featuring a heated steering wheel, a heads-up display with CarPlay integration, and Icon adaptive LED laser lights. It also has the Parking Assistance Package, which adds parking assistant plus and the drive recorder. Other notable options include M Drive professional, adaptive M suspension, M compound brakes, illuminated M sport seats, comfort access, heated front seats, and the best $155 option—floating BMW Roundels in the wheels. We are selling it on consignment for a Glen Shelly regular who ordered it to spec, is the original owner, and has had all of the modifications professionally installed. The condition is virtually perfect, and all maintenance is up to date. It has been priced to account for a percentage of the value of the mods, the rarity of the spec, and the excellent stewardship. Compared to a new G80, it retains the perfect balance of modern technology and old-school buttons (no climate controls buried in the touchscreen menus). As it sits, this is a turn-key G80 M3 that truly is the perfect spec.
